Search suspended for missing US diver in the Bahamas.
The search for former East Hartford police officer Ryan Proulx, who went missing while free diving near Bimini Inlet in the Bahamas, has been suspended. Proulx was an officer with the East Hartford Police Department from 2017 to 2021 and was honored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving for making the most DUI arrests in the department. His father, William Proulx, retired from the force in 2002.
