Permian Resources has announced its acquisition of Earthstone Energy in an all-stock deal worth approximately $4.5 billion, including debt. The acquisition will enhance Permian Resources' presence in the Delaware Basin, a prime target for producers due to its infrastructure, high productivity, and large undeveloped reserves. After the deal closes, Permian Resources and Earthstone shareholders will own approximately 73% and 27% of the combined company, respectively.
