Apple's EarPods to Get USB-C Upgrade for iPhone 15 Launch
Apple is reportedly preparing an updated version of its wired EarPods with a USB-C connector, as the iPhone 15 is expected to switch to USB-C this year. The company has continued to sell wired EarPods as a separate accessory for less than $20, and the new version will be useful for iPad users, as most of the iPad lineup has also ditched Lightning in favor of a USB-C port. The move comes as wired AirPods have made somewhat of a comeback, especially among younger generations.
