Early Arrival Trend Continues for Dave Matthews Band Concert-goers
Fans of the Dave Matthews Band concert at the Star Lake Pavilion are arriving early to avoid traffic and parking issues that plagued earlier concerts this summer. Some are dropped off at the entrance and walk to the pavilion, while others choose to show up an hour before gates open and line their vehicles along Route 18. Even concertgoers who have early parking passes showed up an hour before their parking gates opened at 2 p.m. Traffic backed up from the entrance of Star Lake all the way to Route 22, within minutes of gates opening for free parking at 4 p.m.
