Homemade V12 Land Speed Car Tested on Dyno.
Aardema Braun has built a custom 6.0-liter V12 engine for their land speed racer, which they estimate will make between 750-800 peak horsepower and rev to about 12,000 rpm. The engine was designed using 3D-printing and features custom-made components, including a crankshaft and pistons. The V12 sounds violent but unique on the dyno, with a deep, burbly sound similar to a NASCAR V8 but with a higher-pitched wail. The engine will power a custom tubular frame chassis at the 2023 Bonneville Speed Week event.
