Top Golfers Battle for NCAA Championship Title.
Peter Fountain and Dylan Menante shot 3-under-par 67s, while Austin Greaser had a 69, leading the University of North Carolina men's golf team to a 5-under-par finish in the third round of the 2023 NCAA Championship. Menante is currently in second place in the individual standings, four strokes behind Georgia Tech's Ross Steelman. The Tar Heels are in fourth place and will advance to the fourth and final round of stroke play if they remain in the top 15 teams after the afternoon wave.
