Phillies' No. 5 spot remains a mystery after Covey's disastrous start.
Phillies' starting pitcher Dylan Covey had one of the worst starts in National League history, allowing seven runs on six hits and two home runs, recording just two outs in the Phillies' 11-4 loss to the Braves on Sunday Night Baseball. The Phillies still have no good answer at the back of their rotation with Andrew Painter rehabbing an injured elbow and Bailey Falter needing to regain confidence at Triple A. The Phillies split the four-game series with the Braves and move on to the second leg of their 10-game NL East road trip with a 25-28 record.
