Dylan Arrington, one of four inmates who escaped from a Mississippi jail on Saturday, has been found dead following a fire in a building he had barricaded himself in. He is suspected of shooting and wounding an officer on Wednesday morning. Authorities believe he may also be connected to the fatal shooting of a pastor on Monday night. The cause of Arrington's death is under investigation.
Dylan Arrington, a suspect wanted in connection to a Jackson homicide and one of the Hinds County escapees, was believed to be barricaded inside a home in Leake County. The suspect shot a deputy in the leg before the home was engulfed in flames, and the person inside is believed to be dead. Arrington is considered armed and dangerous and has been accused of killing Pastor Anthony Watts of Simpson County. Law enforcement agencies are on the scene to assist the Leake County Sheriff's Office.
