
Arizona Rookie Cop Killed 18 Years After Father Died on Duty
Rookie Gila River Police Officer Joshua Briese, 23, was fatally shot while responding to an emergency call, nearly 18 years after his father also died in the line of duty. Briese, who had been with the department for less than a year, was among several officers injured in the incident. The FBI is assisting in the investigation.
