Stranger Things Goes 80s Cartoon With Tales From ’85, Debuting April 23
Netflix’s Stranger Things universe expands with Tales From ’85, an animated spinoff set in Hawkins that premieres April 23. From the Duffer Brothers and Shawn Levy with Eric Robles as showrunner, the series features a new voice cast and a distinct ’80s cartoon vibe while filling in untold mythology beyond the mothership; a teaser shows the familiar gang on bikes and playing D&D before a new Upside Down threat emerges. First-look photos and producers Upside Down Pictures and 21 Laps accompany the launch.
