Writers' Strike Delays Stranger Things Season 5 Production.
The Duffer Bros, creators of Netflix's hit sci-fi horror series Stranger Things, have confirmed that production on the fifth and final season will not begin until the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike is resolved. The show was originally scheduled to start filming in June. Stranger Things is set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, and stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, and more. All four seasons are available for streaming exclusively on Netflix.
