Google Partners with NextEra to Revive Iowa Nuclear Plant for Renewable Energy
Google has signed a 25-year agreement with NextEra Energy to buy power from the revived Duane Arnold nuclear plant in Iowa, expected to start delivering electricity by 2029, as part of a broader effort to secure clean, reliable energy for data centers and explore new nuclear development.
