Indictments made in NYC drugging and robbery cases.

A group of people have been charged in New York for a series of druggings and robberies, including two fatal overdoses. The group would approach intoxicated people leaving bars or nightclubs, offer them dangerous and illicit substances, and then take their credit cards or information on their phones to transfer money and make purchases at stores. The indictment lists five defendants, but redacts the names of four. One named defendant, Shane Hoskins, is facing robbery and grand larceny charges. The medical examiner ruled one of the overdoses a homicide nine months after the victim's death. Hoskins's next court date is set for June 8.
