Police records from Monterey reveal that in 2017, an emergency room nurse reported a woman's claim of being drugged and sexually assaulted by Pete Hegseth after a political gathering.
Actress and singer Reneé Rapp revealed in an interview that a traumatic experience of being drugged inspired her to write the title track, "Snow Angel," off her recently released studio album. Rapp recalled waking up in a hotel bathroom stall with no memories of the past several hours and blood on her pants. She stopped being friends with the people she was with that night and decided to write a song about the experience. Rapp's friend and co-writer encouraged her to pen the tune, and although she still feels weird about the incident, she finds solace in her inherent resilience. Rapp's album, Snow Angel, is now available, and she will embark on the Snow Hard Feelings Tour starting in September.
The family of former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins has filed a lawsuit against several people, businesses, and the state of Florida, claiming he was drugged, robbed, and extorted before he was fatally struck while standing drunk on a highway after running out of gas. The lawsuit alleges that Haskins was drugged and robbed by a man and three women in the hours before the accident. The family also alleges that the state highway department didn’t properly maintain and light the road, or post a lower speed limit while construction work was being done. Haskins' blood-alcohol content was 0.20, and he had the strong painkiller ketamine and its metabolite norketamine in his system.
