Ohio Attorney General sues drug middlemen for price fixing.
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost filed a lawsuit accusing drug middlemen of price fixing and overcharging the state's taxpayers for prescription drugs. The lawsuit targets OptumRx, a unit of UnitedHealth Group, and Express Scripts, a unit of Cigna, alleging that they violated state law by overcharging for drugs and engaging in anticompetitive practices. The lawsuit seeks to recover damages and penalties from the companies, which are among the largest pharmacy benefit managers in the US.
