76-year-old man charged over sedative-laced sweets at summer camp
A 76-year-old man, Jon Ruben, was remanded in custody after being charged with mistreating children at a summer camp in Leicestershire, where sweets allegedly laced with sedatives caused eight children and an adult to fall ill; he is scheduled to appear in Crown Court on August 29.
