Georgia football team plagued by serious driving charges in 2023
Georgia Bulldogs' wide receiver Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint was arrested on reckless driving and speeding charges, becoming the fourth player from the team to be arrested on driving-related charges this offseason and fifth since the start of the 2022 season. The charges against defensive tackle Jalen Carter stemmed from a January incident involving a team staffer who died in a street race, while linebacker Jason Dumas-Johnson was arrested for racing and reckless driving just five days before the incident that killed offensive lineman Devin Willock.
