Lance Stroll was unable to race in the F1 Spanish GP due to hand and wrist pain from a recent medical procedure, and the team couldn't replace him because of strict regulations on driver changes after qualifying. Although Aston Martin has reserve drivers, the timing of Stroll's withdrawal made it impossible to substitute him for this race, but they may consider a replacement for the next event in Canada if his condition persists.
