Kraken secure GM Ron Francis with 3-year extension.
Ron Francis has been extended as the general manager of the Seattle Kraken through at least the 2026-27 season. Francis has built a competitive team through trades, free agency, waiver wire evaluation, and draft and development. The Kraken have exceeded expectations in their first two years, earning 100 points and making it to the Western Conference Semi-Finals. They also have a strong AHL squad and a growing pool of prospects. Francis is focused on the 2023 draft and continuing to build upon the strong foundation he has established.
