Boston IVF Founder Accused of Secretly Impregnating Patient with His Own Sperm
Dr. Merle Berger, founder of Boston IVF and former Harvard Medical School professor, has been sued by a former patient who alleges that he secretly impregnated her with his own sperm over 40 years ago. The patient visited Berger for fertility services in 1980 and claims that he used his own sperm instead of the agreed-upon donor. The patient's daughter discovered the truth through DNA testing.
