Doyle Brunson, a legendary poker player known as "Texas Dolly," has died at the age of 89. Brunson won 10 World Series of Poker tournaments and was the first player to win $1 million in tournament play. He was also known for playing in private games with staggering stakes and carrying a pistol for protection. Brunson wrote several books on poker, including "Doyle Brunson's Super System," which became the sport's bible. He is survived by his wife, children, stepdaughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
