Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass have added two new games today, including the delisted Xbox 360 adventure title, The Cave, developed by Double Fine Productions. The Cave is still unavailable for purchase on the Xbox store, but it is now playable through Game Pass. The other addition is Techtonica, a factory automation game set on an alien planet, available through the Game Preview program.
Tim Schafer, the creator of the Psychonauts franchise and founder of Double Fine Productions, has stated that Psychonauts 3 is not currently being worked on. Despite speculation and a potential tease during the Xbox Games Showcase, Schafer clarified that he is not involved in the development of a sequel at this time. Double Fine is currently in a closed doors phase and has not revealed what they are working on.
