Fatal Hit-and-Run: New York City Zipcar Passenger Killed in Oakland Crash
The person who died in a double hit-and-run crash in Oakland has been identified as 18-year-old Arif Mohammed from New York City. Mohammed was the passenger in a Zipcar rental that crashed into another vehicle. After the crash, Mohammed and another person got out of the Zipcar when Mohammed was hit and killed by a car that swerved to avoid the vehicle. The driver of the Zipcar was not injured, and investigators have not released any information about the cars that left the crash scene.
