Nicholas Jordan, a University of Colorado-Colorado Springs student, has been charged with killing his roommate, Samuel Knopp, and a woman, Celie Rain Montgomery, in their shared dorm room. The fatal shooting followed a history of conflict between the roommates, including disputes over living conditions and smoking in the room. Jordan had allegedly threatened to "kill" Knopp over taking out the trash a month before the shooting.
