
Texas Longhorns Secure Second Consecutive NCAA Volleyball Title, Defeating Nebraska 3-0
The Texas Longhorns claimed their fifth national championship in program history and second consecutive NCAA volleyball title with a dominant 3-0 victory over top-ranked Nebraska. After winning the first set, Texas took control of the match in the second set with a remarkable 11-0 run fueled by strong serving, including four aces from Asjia O'Neal. The Longhorns finished the match with a record-setting 12 aces, securing a 25-14 win in the second set and a commanding 25-11 victory in the third set. Madisen Skinner led the team with 16 kills, while freshman setter Ella Swindle contributed 21 assists. Texas finished the season with a .264 hitting percentage, while Nebraska struggled with a .013 average.
