Lions President Addresses Cameron Sutton's Presence During Warrant Disclosure
Detroit Lions' President Rod Wood revealed that defensive back Cameron Sutton was at the team's training facility when news of a domestic violence warrant in Florida surfaced, prompting the team to advise him to turn himself in. The 29-year-old Sutton, who had just completed his first season with the Lions, was subsequently released by the team. The warrant, issued by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, is for domestic battery by strangulation, and Sutton is being sought by authorities.
