St. Louis Sports Commission brings Mizzou football to the Dome for showdown with Memphis
The St. Louis Sports Commission successfully negotiated a deal to bring a Mizzou football game back to St. Louis after more than a decade. The game, scheduled to be played in Memphis, was moved to the Dome at America's Center, costing Mizzou over $1 million in cancellation fees and rescheduling expenses. The Sports Commission is also involved in event management. The game is seen as a test for potentially bringing more Mizzou football games to St. Louis in the future.
