Instacart Driver Cleared in Shooting of Angie Harmon's Dog
The delivery driver who fatally shot Angie Harmon's dog over Easter weekend in Charlotte, N.C., will not face criminal charges, as police determined not to pursue charges after investigating the incident. The driver claimed self-defense, stating that he was attacked by the dog, but police did not find any visible injuries on him. Harmon, who announced her dog's death on Instagram, expressed trauma and devastation over the loss of their beloved pet, prompting Instacart to suspend the shopper's account and cooperate with law enforcement on the investigation.
