"Michael Douglas Shocked to Discover Scarlett Johansson as His DNA Cousin"
Actor Michael Douglas was surprised to discover on the PBS show "Finding Your Roots" that he is a distant cousin of Scarlett Johansson through DNA analysis, sharing four identical strands of chromosomes from Johansson's maternal side of the family with Jewish ancestry from Eastern Europe. This isn't the first time such a revelation has occurred on the show, as television personality Andy Cohen also learned he is related to Johansson. Johansson previously appeared on the show and learned about her ancestors' suffering during the Holocaust.
