"Apple Advises Against Using Rice for Wet iPhones, Recommends Alternative Solution"
Apple has updated its Support page to warn customers against putting wet iPhones in bags of rice, stating that doing so could allow small particles of rice to damage the device. The company advised against using cans of compressed air or external heat sources to dry out devices and recommended wiping the phone dry and allowing it to air dry naturally until all moisture has evaporated. Samsung Australia also offered similar advice for owners of Samsung phones.
