USA Lacrosse Magazine Reveals All-American Honors for Lacrosse Players.

USA Lacrosse Magazine announced its Division III men's lacrosse All-Americans, with Tufts and Salisbury dominating the list. Tufts earned eight All-American selections, including first-team attackman Jack Boyden, first-team faceoff specialist Mason Kohn, and first-team defenseman Joey Waldbaum. Salisbury, which earned five total selections, also placed three players on the first team.

NCAA approves multiple rule changes for college football.

The NCAA is set to approve a rule change that will allow the clock to run after first downs in all divisions except Division III, reducing the number of plays by an average of seven per game. The clock will still stop after first downs during the final two minutes of each half. Division III has pushed back and announced separate playing rules. The Playing Rules Oversight Panel is also expected to approve two other recommendations from the rules committee.
