French diver Alexis Jandard suffered a fall off the diving board in front of President Macron during an Olympic pool inauguration, jokingly referencing a movie quote and assuring everyone that he was not seriously hurt despite red marks on his back. Jandard, an experienced diver, won medals at World Championships and competed in the 2020 Olympic Games, and was performing at the inauguration of the Olympic Aquatic Centre in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis.
