Kennedy Expressway Construction Causes Traffic Disruptions in Chicago
The Diversey exit from the express lanes on the Kennedy Expressway will be closed for about eight weeks as part of the ongoing construction project. Drivers in those lanes will not be able to exit until Ohio Street. The closure is expected to cause traffic and drivers should expect lane shifts and overnight lane closures, along with various ramp closures. The entire project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2025.
