blendOS: The Future of Linux Distributions?
blendOS, an Arch-based distro, aims to replace all Linux distributions by providing an immutable operating system with support for multiple package managers, multiple desktop environments, and the Flathub Store as a desktop app. The project is still in its early stages of development, but it plans to replace Distrobox with Podman and introduce a new GUI configuration tool. blendOS also supports T2 Macs made after 2018.
