Apple Developing OLED MacBook Air to Expand Display Technology Across Product Lines
Apple is reportedly developing a MacBook Air with a 13.4-inch OLED display, which would be slightly smaller than the current model's 13.6-inch LCD panel. The MacBook Pro is not expected to adopt an OLED display until 2026, according to Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants. Young also expects Apple to release a larger 15-inch MacBook Air with an LCD panel this year. Samsung Display has reportedly started developing OLED displays for future MacBook Air models.
