
'Tron: Ares' Director Expresses Frustration Over Strike Talks Delaying Release
Director Joachim Rønning expressed frustration with the SAG-AFTRA strike, which has delayed the start of filming for the long-awaited sequel Tron: Ares. Rønning revealed that the production had to lay off 150 crew members and urged both sides of the contract dispute to resolve their differences. The film, starring Jared Leto, will center around AI and a computer program's journey from the digital world to the human one. It is not yet known if franchise stars Jeff Bridges, Olivia Wilde, and Garrett Hedlund will appear in the sequel.
