Alex Batty, who went missing at the age of 11 during a trip to Spain, has been found six years later while hitchhiking in France. He was discovered by a delivery driver and has since been reunited with a family member in the U.K. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance are still being investigated, and his mother and grandfather, who were with him on the trip, are wanted in connection with his disappearance. Alex had been traveling with his mother and grandfather as part of a "spiritual community" but decided to leave after his mother mentioned plans to move to Finland. He survived by foraging for food before being picked up and brought to safety.
