Divergent Views on Digital Learning between Students and Faculty.

A report by Tyton Partners shows that while digital learning is becoming a fundamental part of higher education, student, faculty, and administrative perspectives don't always align. More than half of faculty members prefer face-to-face classes, while nearly seven in 10 students prefer an instructional model with at least some virtual component. Three-quarters of students favor digital course materials over print, while professors are split 50-50. The report also highlights the challenges of access to digital learning, with 22% of students lacking consistent access to a laptop or desktop computer, and 40% experiencing stress due to unstable or inconsistent internet access.
