America's Top Self-Made Women: From Debt to Billionaires
Diane Hendricks, co-founder of ABC Supply, has topped Forbes' American's Richest Self-Made Women list for the seventh consecutive year with a net worth of $20.9 billion. She and her late husband started the company in 1982 with a $900,000 loan, filling a market gap for roofing materials. Hendricks, who owns 100% of the company, plans to pass it down to her children and has no intention of selling it.
