Samsung Ends DeX and Edge Panel Support in One UI 7 Update
Samsung's One UI 7.0 update will discontinue the Samsung DeX app for Windows, which allowed users to mirror their mobile screens and transfer files between devices. Instead, Samsung is encouraging users to utilize Microsoft's Link to Windows feature, which offers similar functionality and broader compatibility with Android devices. This move is part of Samsung's effort to simplify its offerings, as One UI 7.0 will also remove support for Edge Panel downloads from the Galaxy Store.
