Golden Gate Bridge Sees Zero Suicides in Late 2025 After Deterrent System
A stainless-steel deterrent system installed on both sides of the Golden Gate Bridge coincides with a dramatic drop in suicides, recording zero fatalities in the second half of 2025 after decades of about 30 deaths per year, continuing a long campaign to reduce loss of life at the landmark.
