Michigan Woman Suspended by Poshmark for $800K Designer Apparel Fraud
Poshmark has suspended the account of a Michigan woman, Brandalene “Brandy” Horn, who allegedly stole and resold over $823,000 worth of designer clothing on the platform. Horn, 42, reportedly made more than $750,000 in profit from the scheme, bragging about her earnings in a private Poshmark sellers Facebook group. She faces charges of mail fraud, wire fraud, and interstate transportation of stolen property, potentially leading to 50 years in prison if convicted. Horn allegedly resold stolen items from rental companies and created multiple accounts to avoid returning the items, with investigators discovering her alleged scheme after placing orders and finding residue on the clothing tags.
