Former DePaul University basketball coach Joey Meyer, who led the Blue Demons to seven NCAA Tournament appearances, has passed away at the age of 74. Meyer, who also played for DePaul under his father Ray Meyer, had a successful coaching tenure with the team, reaching the Sweet 16 twice. After DePaul, he continued his career in basketball as a coach in the NBA's developmental league and as a scout for the LA Clippers.
