New Lead Emerges in 1976 Teen Disappearance Case, Ruling Out BTK as a Suspect
Oklahoma district attorney Mike Fisher has stated that there is not enough evidence to charge Dennis Rader, also known as BTK, in the 1976 disappearance of Cynthia Dawn Kinney. Fisher has called for a formal investigation into the case and revealed that there is a lead on another person connected to the disappearance, who is now deceased. Fisher expressed concerns about the handling of evidence by the Osage County Sheriff's Office and the premature suggestion that Rader was a suspect. He also mentioned that the lack of evidence makes it difficult to solve the case and provide answers to Kinney's family.
