Dennis Condrey, Co-Founder of Midnight Express, Dies at 74
Dennis Condrey, a founding member of the Midnight Express, has died at age 74. The news was announced by Dax Harwood and a GoFundMe for Condrey’s funeral costs was started, with PWInsider later confirming the death. Condrey helped form the Midnight Express in 1980 with Randy Rose and Norvell Austin, later reuniting with Rose in a subsequent version with Bobby Eaton and Jim Cornette, and he wrestled across major promotions (Mid-South, WCCW, Crockett Promotions, AWA, WCW) before continuing on the independent circuit; AEW paid tribute to him in 2023.
