Rapper Tory Lanez has been denied bond as he appeals his 10-year sentence for shooting hip-hop star Megan Thee Stallion. Ponte Vedra Stabbing Suspect Denied Bond, Charged with Murder.

Spencer Pearson, accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend, her mother, and a man who tried to intervene at a Ponte Vedra restaurant, was denied bond for attempted murder charges and given a $100,000 bond for aggravated assault charges. He is not allowed to have contact with the victim's family, be within 1,500 feet of the ex-girlfriend or her mother, or return to the property where the attack occurred. Pearson also stabbed himself during the incident.

Ex-Alabama basketball player Darius Miles denied bond in murder case.

Former Alabama basketball player Darius Miles was denied bond in a capital murder case related to a fatal shooting near campus. Miles and Michael Lynn Davis were charged with capital murder in the death of 23-year-old Jamea Harris. Miles had pleaded not guilty, but admitted to providing the gun used to shoot Harris. Miles' former teammates attended the hearing. Davis has applied for youthful offender status. Freshman star Brandon Miller allegedly transported the gun used to shoot Harris, but has not been charged and is a cooperating witness.
