Square Enix announced an update for the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo on February 21, addressing performance concerns and upgrading the game's Performance Mode. The update will also be applied to the full game, aiming to improve visual quality when selecting Performance Mode from the graphics options. The demo, available now, allows players to explore the opening chapter of the game, featuring both Cloud and Sephiroth in the Nibelheim chapter. Square Enix has been sharing details of the game, including new playable characters, a card game, and fast travel, with the full game set to launch on February 29.
