Amazon has become the largest delivery business in the United States, surpassing both UPS and FedEx in parcel volumes. The company delivered more packages to U.S. homes in 2022 than UPS and is expected to widen the gap this year. However, the U.S. Postal Service remains the biggest parcel service by volume, handling packages for all three companies.
Domino's has launched a new Pinpoint Delivery feature that allows customers to receive pizza deliveries without a specific address. Customers can drop a pin of their location in Google Maps from within the Domino's mobile app to receive their order. However, customers must meet their driver within four minutes at a location deemed suitable by the app. The new feature builds on Domino's Hotspots feature and is part of the company's efforts to bolster its delivery business.
