The dispute stemmed from Combs' claims that Diageo had not supported marketing agreements involving Ciroc vodka and DeLeón tequila. The resolution severs their business ties, and Diageo now solely owns DeLeón tequila. Combs is also facing lawsuits related to sexual assault charges, and his temporary resignation as chairman of Revolt and the cancellation of his Hulu reality show.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs has launched Diddy Direct, a direct-to-consumer liquor retailer that offers US consumers the option to purchase Combs' spirits, including Cîroc Vodka and DeLeón Tequila. The platform provides information on where to find each of Combs' spirits brands and allows consumers to purchase the products for delivery, if possible in their area. Diddy Direct also includes an interactive national map to geo-locate local businesses and distributors. The platform is available now across the US.
