Immortals of Aveum, the upcoming first-person shooter from Ascendant Studios and EA, has been delayed from its original July 20 release date to August 22. Game director Bret Robbins cited the need for more time to realize the studio's full vision and further polish the game. The delay will allow for optimization on all platforms and a strong launch.

Immortals of Aveum, EA's upcoming magic FPS, has been delayed to August 22 to "add more PC functionality" and further polish the game. Ascendant Studios says the delay is in reaction to feedback from recent previews and to "realize our full vision." Immortals of Aveum is notable for being one of the first Unreal Engine 5 games to arrive on the market and will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
